Caesar-Style Salad
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 3 Slices French bread (1/2 inch-think) cubed
- ¼ Lemon juice
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 2 Cloves garlic, peeled and
finely minced
- ¼ Teaspoons Pepper
- 3 Cups Iceberg lettuce,
torn
- 3 Cups Romaine lettuce, torn
- 2 Tablespoons grated
or finely shredded Parmesan cheese

Preparation Instructions
Spray baking sheet with cooking spray. Sprinkle bread
cubes on baking sheet; bake at 350F for 10 to 12 minutes
or until toasted. Meanwhile, in small bowl, stir together
lemon juice, oil, garlic, and pepper. Remove toasted
bread from oven; place in a shallow bowl. Sprinkle 2
Tablespoons of dressing over croutons; toss to coat.
In a salad bowl, toss lettuces together. Add croutons,
remaining dressing, and Parmesan cheese; toss well. |
