On the Go Stir-Fry
Makes: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 2 c broccoli florettes, fresh
- 1/2 lb lean beef, pork,
or chicken cut into 1/4 inch strips or 1/2 pound
of scallops or shrimp
- 1 onion, small, sliced
- 1 c mushrooms, sliced
- 2-4 T water
- 1 t garlic
- 1 c carrots, sliced
- 1 t soy sauce
 Preparation Instructions
Spray a skillet with non-stick coating. Add meat or
seafood and stir-fry with garlic until cooked. Remove
and keep warm. Stir-fry carrots and onion until carrots
are partially done. Add water, as needed, to prevent
sticking. Add broccoli, mushrooms, and soy sauce. Stir-fry
until vegetables are done to your liking. Add meat or
seafood. Serve with rice or noodles.
Other vegetables that are good in stir-fry are: green
or red peppers, celery, green onions, zucchini, cauliflower,
cabbage, snow peas, bean sprouts. |
